Craig and Krystelle first cycled with AllTrails (Phil & Susan McDonald) almost 2 years ago when they rode in Thailand from Phuket to Bangkok – about 1000kms over 10 days.
From June 28, they will be joining a group of like-minded Australians to cycle from Rome to Paris over 20 days – just over 2,000 kms. Craig will be riding the full distance, while Krystelle will spend the first leg in Switzerland with friends, joining Craig in Turin before the group heads over the French Alps and up to Paris just in time to catch the final night of racing in this year’s Tour De France.
This blog will share some of the experiences over the coming weeks – the ups and downs – the bonking (cycling term for running out of energy) – and answer a question on all of your minds – what do they look like in lycra?
